Karl & Dimarco North

Karl & DiMarco School of Theatre and Tampa Dance Studio was established in 1972 by Sandy Karl & Bobby Karl. Collectively, their experience in the field and industry was rich and diverse. Most notably are their credits in 13 original Broadway shows, including Music Man, West Side Story, Li’l Abner, Half a Sixpence, and Illya Darling, to name a few. The founders also have experience and credits in some popular Hollywood Movies, such as: Mary Poppins, State Fair, Bye Bye Birdie, Music Man, My Six Loves, West Side Story and co-choreography for Li’l Abner.

Their professional experience in the theatre, national network TV, and Hollywood movies empowered them to pass along expertise and values to the next generation, Karl & DiMarco North! Karl & DiMarco North was created with a purpose to inspire through passion and train dancers into well rounded, productive humans. It is our goal and objective to bring the highest standard of training, both physical and mental, to each and every student.
